Creta Bloxom – President
Creta is a past Board Member of the Anchorage Home Builders Association and a current Board Member for ACHP Alaska and the Mat-Su Home Builders Association. She has been on the board of directors of the Anchorage, Regional, and National Boards of the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women (APWM) for many years and is the current Director of the APWM Scholarship Foundation. She is a licensed real estate professional and holds designations as Graduate of Real Estate Institute, Certified Distressed Property Expert and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource. She has many years in the lending community and holds the Institute of Mortgage Lending designations of Graduate of Mortgage Lending and Certified in Mortgage Ethics.
Denny Wood – Vice President
Denny has been a board member of Alaska Craftsman Home Program for over 10 years, and has been in the Anchorage Real Estate industry for 30 years. He holds the Certified Residential Specialist designation, the Certified Residential Broker designation and is a Graduate of REALTOR® Institute. He has owned, managed and brokered real estate offices, overseeing hundreds of REALTORS® and tens of thousands of real estate transactions. He was also a general contractor and owned a construction company. He enjoys selling homes and making families happy. As a Certified Real Estate Instructor, he has instructed many licensees in his Alaska Real Estate School for over 17 years, bringing Pre License, Post License and Continuing Education to Real Estate professionals across the state.
He has been president of the Alaska Association of REALTORS®, Anchorage Board of REALTORS® and The Alaska Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists. He has been named Alaska REALTOR® of the Year, Anchorage REALTOR® of the Year, and Alaska Certified Residential Specialist of the Year by his peers.
Being a part of an organization that is on the forefront of energy efficiency conservation is an exciting place to serve. He was able to build his own house using many energy saving techniques and as a result enjoy very low energy bills.

Chuck Renfro has been a Board Member, Officer, Executive Director, and Trainer with ACHP for more than 20 years. Chuck is the Proprietor of Energy Efficiency Associates where he provides consulting services, energy audits, and installs ground source heat pumps.
Chuck is a mechanical contractor, general contractor, AkWarm & RESNET certified energy rater, BPI Building Analyst/proctor, and past ICC Inspector. He also serves on the Board of Anchorage Homebuilders Association and formerly served on the Board of the Cold Climate Housing Research Center in Fairbanks.
Chuck brings more than 30 years of experience as a general and mechanical contractor when providing classes in Cold Climate Home Building Techniques and design and installation of mechanical systems for ACHP.
Clai Porter
Clai Porter is the President of NCP Design/Build Ltd and the Principle of NCP Architects and Planners, located in Anchorage, Alaska. Mr. Porter has 40 plus years of architectural design and construction experience in Alaska, and has constructed over 1200 single-family residences and 2800 remodeling projects at both urban and rural sites. He is a registered architect, expert witness, and AAA arbitrator, and has consulted on code review, building inspection, and quality control for large commercial projects. Among the many awards he has received are Alaska State Builder of the Year–thrice–and NAHB Remodeler of the Year. Clai holds the positions of: NAHB Senior Life Director, NAHB State Representative for Alaska, Build PAC Trustee for Alaska, NAHB Executive Board Member, ASHB Board Member. He is a co-founder of the Cold Climate Housing Research Center in Fairbanks, and served as Chairman of the Board for ten years. Mr. Porter serves on the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation Board as the Vice Chair, the Alaska Craftsman Home Program Board of Directors, and the Anchorage Downtown Partnership Board of Directors.

Terry Duszynski is President of Westlake, Inc. dba Duszynski & Associates, a construction consulting firm providing Home Buyers Inspections, New Construction Inspections, Energy modeling of plans and specifications, and Training in Energy Efficient Construction since 1977.
Terry has been President of the Alaska Craftsman home Program, President of the Alaska State Homebuilding Assn, Public member on the Alaska Real Estate Commission, Vice Chair of the Alaska Housing Finance Board of Directors and Chairman of the Alaska Board of Electrical Examiners.
Terry is an AHFC Certified Energy Rater, a RESNET Certified Energy Rater, a CEA (Certified Energy Auditor), a BPI (Building Performance Institute) Certified Analyst, an NAHB (National Association of Homebuilders Assn.) Certified Graduate Builder, an NAHB Certified Green Professional, an NAHB Certified Trainer, an Alaska State Registered Home Inspector, an ICC (International Code Council) certified Residential Combination Inspector and a Residential Contractor Endorsement holder. A founding member of ACHP, Terry brings 30+ years of Alaskan experience to bear when presenting classes for the Alaska Craftsman Home Program.
Jimmy Ord – Ex-Officio Board Member

Originally from Pennsylvania, Jimmy fell in love with Alaska while working on his uncle’s fishing boat in Juneau during summer break from college. He moved to Juneau shortly after graduating from college where he worked in the construction, tourist, and fishing industries before moving to Anchorage in 2010.
Jimmy joined AHFC in 2011 as the program information manager in the Research and Rural Development Department. He served as the department manager for several years before becoming the director.
Jimmy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and a Master of Science degree from the University of Alaska Southeast in Public Administration.
In his free time, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his partner, Suzanne, traveling, cooking, and exploring Alaska’s wild places.
